Russell Beck has accepted an appointment to the Advisory Board of the Boston University School of Law’s Small-Midsize Firm Apprenticeship Program (“SMAP”). SMAP was created to place recent law school graduates with small to midsize law firms for a one year apprenticeship, thus giving the graduate an opportunity to demonstrate their skill and competence while adding value to the firm in the context of a defined commitment on both sides. The program’s goal is to strengthen the relationship between the law school and its graduates and the small to midsize legal community – a practice sector that is of increasing interest to students and graduates as they continue to grow and strengthen in the evolving legal market.
