Paula Astl is a paralegal supporting the firm’s Litigation and Employment practices.

Paula has more than 20 years of experience working as a litigation paralegal in a number of areas of law including employment law, patent litigation, complex business securities litigation, and government enforcement.

Her areas of expertise in the litigation arena include working with clients on data collection and e-discovery, discovery and deposition preparation, assisting with motion practice, and preparing for, as well as assisting through, the trial and post-trial phases of cases.

Paula’s experience includes:

  • Trial and appellate matters in United States federal courts
  • Trial and appellate matters in Massachusetts courts, including Superior Court
  • Trial and appellate matters in various other states
  • Arbitration and mediation proceedings

In addition to her litigation work, Paula enjoys personal training and owns and manages The Fix Personal Training, LLC.

Paula joined Beck Reed Riden LLP in 2019 after working in large Boston firms as well as spending time working as an in-house paralegal for a large university.
